Wright Engineering and Martin Engineering work in partnership across the UK and will be teaming-up for Hillhead 2026

BULK processing plant specialists Wright Engineering have joined forces with materials handling experts Martin Engineering for this year’s Hillhead quarrying exhibition.

Featuring a full-scale conveyor system fitted with numerous Martin Engineering components and Gurtec rollers, Wright Engineering’s stand (H10) will showcase the combined capabilities of two teams that have built a strong partnership to deliver bespoke solutions over the past five years.

The collaboration brings together Wright’s unrivalled reputation for engineering excellence through the delivery of high-quality processing systems with Martin’s renowned solutions to eliminate blockages and build-ups, prevent spillage and reduce dust emissions, resulting in less downtime and a lower cost of operation.

Visitors to Stand H10 can also take part in a unique charity abseil to mark the launch of a new specialist rope access maintenance business, CK Wright. For every participant who completes the abseil, takes a selfie, posts it on LinkedIn and tags Wright Engineering, the firm will donate £50 to Mind, the mental health charity.

Among the Martin Engineering solutions on display are new conveyor belt cleaners from Martin’s newly acquired CVT line, the revolutionary CleanScrape primary cleaner; QC1+ PV primary cleaner assembly and SQC2 secondary cleaner assembly, GAB impact bed conveyor belt support system, ApronSeal skirting for transfer points, and preview of Martin’s world-first N2 Air Cannon Intelligence System fitted to a Hurricane air cannon.

The Wright Engineering stand will also feature a pedestal display showcasing the Gurtec roller range, an operating display unit from Locker Feeders, demonstrations and visuals highlighting Wright’s turnkey engineering capabilities, as well as information on the company’s design, manufacture, installation and maintenance services.

Joshua Jepson, Wright Engineering’s national sales director, said: ‘Hillhead provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase the partnership between Wright Engineering and Martin Engineering. By combining our engineering and manufacturing expertise with Martin’s globally recognized conveyor technology, we can offer customers complete bulk material handling solutions that improve reliability, efficiency and site performance.’

Martin Engineering’s UK branch manager, Dave Harasym, said: ‘As one of the country’s most respected engineering companies, Wright have the scale, experience and technical expertise for any materials handing challenge, and our nationwide partnership has flourished in recent years. Hillhead is always a highlight of the year for us and we’re looking forward to sharing a stand with Wright, with a full-scale conveyor installation fitted with Martin hardware. And I will almost certainly be one of the first to be volunteered to give the charity abseiling a go!’
